• St Patrick's Day in Dublin

    Hello everyone,

One week ago it was the St Patrick's Day and we mooved with all Erasmus students to Dublin to celebrate this day and see the parade.

The St Patrick's day or Feast of Saint Patrick is a Catholic, Anglican and Orthodox feast day. The celebration is held on 17 March.

St Patrick was an evangelist of Ireland. One day he tried to explain the Holy Trinity with a shamrock during a homily to Irish people. From this day shamrock was become the Irish symbol (the Irish emblem is the celtic harp).

On the same day, he would have chased snakes of Ireland. This action symbolise the Irish people's conversion.
